Rollo Unden
Rollo Unden (born October 2002) is a Swedish-British search engine optimization (SEO) consultant, entrepreneur, software developer and automation specialist from Guernsey, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He is the founder of the indexing product Rapid Indexer and the local-entity link marketplace Unfair Links, and has presented research on indexing and SERP reshaping.[1][3][4][9]
Unden began working in SEO in 2022 with Amazon affiliate sites, later operating in competitive performance verticals including iGaming. He founded the Guernsey digital marketing agency Apex Marketing with Blaze Vile and Finley Price, becoming sole owner after buying out his co-founders in 2024.[1][7] Through Apex he launched Makeify, an automation-template business built on Make.com.[2] In 2025 he launched Rapid Indexer. He has appeared as a guest presenter on Charles Floate's Black Hat SEO webinar, where he spoke on SERP reshaping, and is a contributor to Floate's AI SEO Rainmakers community at seo.stream.[5][6]
Early life [edit]
Unden was born in October 2002 in Guernsey. He holds Swedish and British nationality. As a child he contributed to local politics and news coverage through Guernsey Insider, a local publication that closed around 2014, working with Matt Bougourd.
Career [edit]
Affiliate SEO
Unden began working in search in 2022, ranking Amazon affiliate sites. He later put his own capital into performance SEO across competitive verticals, including iGaming.[1] His public writing describes learning both the white-hat playbook and black-hat techniques in those markets, on the grounds that highly competitive SERPs are where ranking methods are tested. He operates a portfolio of revenue web properties that he keeps largely unnamed.[1]
Apex Marketing
Unden founded Apex Marketing, a digital marketing agency based in Guernsey, with Blaze Vile and Finley Price. The company offered SEO, web development and related services to clients in competitive industries.[1][7][8] In 2024 he bought out Vile and Price and became sole owner. Apex has since functioned more as a parent for his software and automation projects than as a conventional client agency.[1]
Automation and Makeify
After a period focused on process automation, Unden brought Make.com and n8n workflows back into SEO: content, publishing and reporting pipelines that he later productized rather than billing the same work job by job.[1] He founded Makeify (makeify.io), an Apex-backed site selling automation templates and custom integrations, including content and indexing pipelines.[2]
Rapid Indexer
In 2025 Unden launched Rapid Indexer, an indexing service intended to get pages crawled and indexed by Google faster than Search Console-based workflows. The product offers a standard queue, a VIP priority queue, an index-status checker, a developer API and a Chrome extension.[3] He has said he built it because existing tools were not fast enough for the volumes he used on his own sites, and that he went deep enough on indexing as a technical SEO problem to ship his own software.[1] Rapid Indexer is one of the public names in a stack he otherwise describes as funding, and being sharpened by, a private portfolio of ranked properties.[1]
Unfair Links
Unden founded Unfair Links (unfairlinks.com), a marketplace for local and entity-matched backlinks. The service places links on sites rebuilt on domains with live Google Business Profiles, with placements matched to the buyer's market and language, and presents itself as an alternative to generic multi-niche guest-post inventory.[4] On his personal site he has written that he owns link infrastructure rather than renting placements through agencies.[1]
SERP reshaping and appearances
Unden's public research has focused on indexing and crawl discovery, and on SERP reshaping—changing the mix of result types Google shows for a query rather than ranking a better page of the type already there.[9] In March 2026 he was a special guest on a five-hour Black Hat SEO webinar hosted by Charles Floate for about seventy live ticket holders, where he presented on SERP reshaping. Floate publicly credited the session to Unden in a LinkedIn post after the event.[5]
AI SEO Rainmakers
Unden is a contributor to AI SEO Rainmakers, a paid community focused on visibility in AI-powered search, with its public site at seo.stream. The community was founded by Charles Floate and is hosted on the Skool platform.[6]
Approach and ideas [edit]
Unden describes himself as a "money hat" SEO and developer: he emphasises commercial outcomes over traffic volume, owning both the software and the ranked properties, and treating client work as secondary to assets he builds and buys.[1] He has written that he learned white-hat and black-hat methods in competitive verticals in order to see what actually moves rankings, and that most of what he knows does not get published, circulating instead in private networks.[1] His public research edge has been indexing—getting pages discovered and kept in the index at volumes where Search Console is no longer useful—and SERP reshaping. He builds full-stack in PHP, Next.js and TypeScript.[1]
